Calibration Specialist – Laboratory Instruments (Junior or Experienced) (m/f/x)

Full-time | Lab in Nazareth | Customer sites in Belgium & the Netherlands

Are you precise, technically minded, and do you enjoy alternating between laboratory work and visits to customer sites? Then you might be the colleague we’re looking for.

To support our continued growth, we are looking for a junior or experienced calibration specialist. Experience is a plus, but certainly not a must. Motivated starters are equally welcome — through thorough training, you will grow into a fully qualified calibration specialist.

Calibration Lab is an ISO 17025-accredited laboratory partner specialised in the calibration of laboratory instruments. From our lab in Nazareth, we support customers throughout the Benelux with reliable and traceable calibration services. Our customers are active in the Life Sciences sector and include pharmaceutical and biotech companies, research laboratories, universities and quality control labs.

Your role

You will spend roughly half of your time in our calibration laboratory in Nazareth and the other half at customer sites in Flanders and the Netherlands. On average, you will work in the Netherlands about four days per month.

Together with your colleagues, you make sure laboratory equipment is correctly calibrated, maintained and documented in line with the applicable quality standards.

What will you be doing?

  • Calibrating laboratory instruments, including pipettes, balances and other measuring equipment.
  • Carrying out calibrations in our laboratory in Nazareth.
  • Carrying out calibrations at customer sites in Belgium and the Netherlands.
  • Recording and reporting calibration results in accordance with ISO guidelines.
  • Maintaining and, to a limited extent, repairing equipment.
  • Actively contributing ideas to improve our processes and services.
  • Building professional relationships with customers and acting as their point of contact on site.

Who are we looking for?

We welcome both junior and experienced candidates.

You hold a bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Technology, Chemistry, Biotechnology or a comparable field. Do you have relevant hands-on experience in a laboratory or technical environment? Then we invite you to apply as well.

Experience with calibration is an advantage, but not a requirement. What matters more is your accuracy, technical interest, willingness to learn and hands-on mentality.

In addition:

  • you have an interest in measuring equipment, quality and precision work;
  • you work accurately and in a structured way;
  • you communicate fluently in Dutch and have a good command of English;
  • you hold a category B driving licence;
  • you are willing to support customers in Belgium and the Netherlands;
  • you work well both independently and as part of a team;
  • you are customer-focused, reliable and practical.

What can you expect from us?

  • A varied role combining laboratory and field work.
  • A place in a specialised, close-knit team.
  • Extensive training and guidance from experienced colleagues.
  • A high degree of autonomy and responsibility.
  • A stable and growing organisation active in the Life Sciences sector.
  • A competitive salary package complemented by fringe benefits such as 12 ADV days, meal vouchers, hospitalisation insurance and a group insurance plan.
  • A company car with fuel card / charging card.
  • Plenty of opportunity to develop further into a calibration expert.
